21st Century Thoughts

(Individual evocation of wisdom, understanding, knowledge and love at the gates of light.)

(The inner and outer man with common sense as the mediator.)

IM (inner man) and OM (outer man) stand on the sphere of the moon, M (the mediator) on the sphere of the earth.

All say:
“We stand to face the gates of light which rise towards the south.”

IM moves onto the sphere of Mercury and says:
“I would capture the song of light, its illusive melody as it curves through the year in its waxing and waning pilgrim’s errand of the sun, objective conscious light.”

OM moves onto the sphere of Venus and says:
“For the year is but a cycle of light, a poem of solar pulsation, now low, now high, a rhythm that carries the message and meaning of the awareness of ‘Being’.”

M moves onto the sphere of the sun and says:
“Because every living thing sees all there is from its own centre-vision, it must needs interpret its varying response to this one divine source of life as it changes in intensity and quality that which it emanates.”

All say:
“When our triple-vision is witness to the slow swinging of the sun in its celestial declination,intuition shakes hands with the intellect and instinctively knows beyond deceiving words, that this very same motion is occurring in our most intimate depths, a deep hidden perception of the source of all life, that is the actuality of that outer rhythm.”

IM moves onto the sphere of Jupiter and says:
“The sun lies low in the southern skies, but the pale light of winter caresses the hills white with silence.
Space time and consciousness, triangle of integration of the individual soul into the world soul happens here, at the southern gate, through the earthing of the self-conscious principle, where the sun enters upon its northward journey, bringing to all that lives rebirth and self-renewal .
It is a light which heralds in a new day, a new year, a new cycle of consciousness, hopefully a new humanity.”

M steps over the black hole of consciousness onto the sphere of Uranus.

All say:
“It is the light which flows from the mighty urn, carried by Aquarius , rooted in the purity of white space. The self-conscious light that has yet to be shed upon the souls and minds of men.
For untold aeons we have lived on the fruits of the great sacrifice, the time has come where we need to become the sacrifice, so let us advance as a pioneer host towards the ever old yet ever new place of sacrifice, the mystic waterfall, to be the water and the water bearer and become active intelligence, love-wisdom and will and power, in service to the seed full of the pain of its birth.”

M says:
“From the eternal and symbolic east the sun ever rises to bring to man the promise of fulfillment through embodied existence, the gift of human conscious evolution.
It is the birth on the green earth, birth within the rhythmic tides of the red blood, birth as an ego, and to this gift every star in the heavens contributes, in this chorus of celebration, every constellation sings its part; for man, the whole man, as the potential master of life, fulfills self-conscious-responsibility and becomes the ‘diamond-soul’.
Towards that, all the powers of space flow, towards that the time-spirit aspires.”

All say:
“To know it, to feel it, to act it is man’s eternal task, the human invocation of the light is strong and none but those who reject it can deny this summons.
To seek enlightenment rising out of the womb of illusion, Maya conquers the eternal womb of Nature, ever changing, ever renewing, yet ever deceiving the fleeting happiness of bodies afraid to die.
Love-wisdom knows the courage of confrontation at the gates of the imprisoned Bull straining to escape mortal life.

OM moves onto the sphere of Mars and says:
“Earthly love is limited by its very fruitfulness”. The desire of earth bodies is fulfilled in progeny, exhausted in satiation, or overcome in the renunciation of the enlightened One.
The sun stands high in the sky, ablaze with purple light, possessing the earth, fulfilled, great with child.
Sunlight has made the earth its home, has built a cradle for its progeny, the realm of objectivity is conquered, solar man secure and rooted.

IM moves to the sphere of Saturn and says:
“At the inner gate of the northern light, the human having passed through all the earthly coronation, is now ready to face a glory more transcendent. The desert, symbolic of the heavy moisture of the fertile plains, has been absorbed and the watery power, the emotional life, has been stilled so that the human may be ready to enter the ocean of understanding and become an atom of divinity.”

OM moves to the sphere of Neptune and says:
“At the inner southern gate the human climbs slowly towards the light that flows earthwards to become the equinox, the fourfold stream that that pours from the one source to nurse the evolution of consciousness, point in the structure of human consciousness, rising and setting, laboriously moving to stand under the waterfall, light of wisdom, understanding, knowledge and love that brings illumination for one and all.”

All say:
“The four gates of light are the points of positive release, the fountainhead of power.
But midway between these gates are the four lights of Karma, in the realm of earth bodies, symbolic of the bull, the lion, the eagle and man.”

M as the lightning flash touching Uranus and the Earth says:
“In the eternal and symbolic west the sun ever sets, bringing men the promise of transcendental life and rebirth, into the vastness of a greater whole”.

As the light of the flamboyant ego of the skies, pales into translucent dusk, out of the growing darkness, one by one stars emerge.

The one (sun) dies into the many, but such a death is a revelation.”

All say:
“Having been tyrannised by the relentless power of sun-seeing and oppressed by the one implacable God, let us sense within ourselves, comradeship with the stars ,by opening the mind to the multitudes of radiant ‘Beings’.

Out of the heart of the sun we emerge into the companionship with the stars, through soul intent we climb from the realm of the solar autocrat into the company of universal life, where the ego-soul-persona liberated from emotional gratification and mind-manipulation enters an actuality of Self,
Spirit and Matter intercommunication of the constellation of eternal humanity.

We are the fire at the base of the crucible of alchemy, discrimination of spirit, love and wisdom, unveiling of the Sphinx, having tamed the lion of pride, solar glamour sinks below the threshold of the known, starlight penetrates the dark unconscious ,we become the gate to the kingdom fourfold and move into the pulsation of the universal heart.

Out of that darkness the mystery reveals itself as the sacrifice of the seed, giving all of itself.
We are the seed, darkness of the unknown light that gives birth to a new star.
