That includes making wrong judgements and learning by them; it should be the heart centre of every self-conscious being, balancing the two poles of energy, positive and negative and of life, force and form.
I saw on the cover of ‘the bulletin of Atomic Scientists’ the face of a clock. Its hands are set at seven minutes to midnight; a symbol of the ‘future’, the worlds approach to a nuclear doomsday,’ explains the Bulletin’s editor, Bernard Field. “As the Bulletin begins its 35th year, we feel impelled to record and to emphasize the accelerating drift towards world disaster in almost all realms of social activity.”

I experience myself as a human charioteer, a metaphor of my ego, drawn by five horses, symbolic of the five senses. Sensory perception is activated between pain and joy, shedding light onto mental-emotional experiences that reveal the intricate nature of intelligent life, visible and invisible.

After all worlds, rise and fall by cultural and individual choice of being irresponsible or responsible.
In weighing up both positive and negative, or seeing both sides of the coin and by mediating between the opposites within, without, above and below, I get a holistic view, which is timeless, and reveals itself in the dynamic neutrality of the law of Karma. Freedom of choice, for better or worse, lies at the heart of human consciousness.
Is not every single atom and cell subject to the same law?
Yet human pride and prejudice would have it otherwise and will not allow life’s failures or see its challenge for redemption.

The answer is that each name has a particular shade of meaning, which emphasises a particular aspect of the teaching, which may be subdivided into three categories.
- The Manas aspect
- The Agnishvatta aspect
- The Kumara aspect
The Manas aspect stresses the phase of the awakening of the Mind principle, at the same time calling attention to the fact that the Sons of Mind pertain essentially to the Lords of the Flame in very truth.
The Agnishatta aspect stresses the evolutional phase, with especial reference to the successful completion of the development of Manas therefore they are completely developed Solar Pitris.
The Kumara aspect represents the phase of enlightenment by direct assistance, in that the Holy Youths actually incarnated in a portion of the human race.
The Kumaras, “May indeed mark a ‘special’ or extra creation, since it is they who, by incarnating themselves within the senseless human shells of the two first root races, and a great portion of the Third Root race – create, so to speak, a new race, that of thinking, self-conscious and divine men.” SD I, 457.

Thoughts on western esoteric traditions;
Because I do feel that Theosophy tends to lean too much towards eastern mystics and their mystery traditions.
New Age Thought in the West is full of pseudo-Buddhism, Chinese unorthodox medicine, Theosophy with its eastern ideas of divine plans and initiations has increased the conflict of the opposites, almost ridiculing the individual free spirit within.
A one track mind over matter whether eastern or western leads to one goal; I am right you are wrong!
It is the Jews with the Kabbalistic Tree, who are stuck in between eastern and western thought, sticking out like a sore thumb
It does not accept or reject either Western or Eastern Mystery traditions.
I have a strong feeling that East and West, at least on a material plane, should run side by side, each charged with its own type of energy-thought-systems interacting between each other.
All mankind has one origin, together with the planets and this tiny solar system in an immense galaxy, one out of many, they all come into existence and ‘Being” as one, according to universal principles and laws.
There is a fine line between force and form, positive and negative that represents Life, the intercourse of spirit and matter whose child is consciousness born on that fine existence and ‘being’ is combined in one dynamic and harmonious whole, which negates separation wholeheartedly.
I have spent many years trying to bring the practical application of eastern and western theories together, finding the Tree of Life the most suitable tool.
Simple, practical all over view of the Tree of Life as I envision it:
I see the human divine spark in deep sleep, in the veils of Ain-Soph-Aur which corresponds to the vast unconscious, the infinite One Source of evolutionary conscious life in force and form, thought and action.
I envision the world of emanation as the womb of the human divine spark, one amongst innumerable other life-sparks.
All life-sparks enter the four worlds of the Tree as triple-flames i.e. positive and negative with the balancing or earthing point in between.
In the human case the Soul-triple-flame is the emanation of soul-consciousness into inner and outer worlds of creation.
In other words; the spirit of the Life-force uses as its vehicle soul-consciousness, which, on the Tree represents the Ocean of Wisdom (Neptune) taking form in Saturn as the Spirit of Time using as its vehicle the soul-triple-flame sowing the mind-seedlings in Daath or the black hole of consciousness to grow from within out and unfold.
The Soul, guardian of the mind rises out of the black hole (Daath) as a twin, both human and elemental.
In other words the human subjective-objective and collective consciousness unfolds through the mind, using the black hole of consciousness as its rest-period under the guardianship of the twin-soul of Man human (vulcan energies) and elemental, (Pluto energies).
The former ever answers to the (magnetic pull inwards and up towards the light of the life-force, the latter is drawn towards the magnetic pull down towards the form-side of matter.
Between the two is the fine, but dynamic line of the involution-evolution of consciousness, manifesting as cause and effect, the law of Karma or adjustment between that which is above and that which is below.
Self-consciousness is the earthing of the law of Karma.
I can go along with the biblical saying:
“For whoever does not know self, does not know anything, but whoever knows self already has acquired knowledge about the depth of the universe.”
The conflict of the opposites begins within Man the measure of all manifesting things. The Self or inner Man might be torn between the One and the Many, the upper and lower triangles of the principles within his constitution, but that makes him master or prisoner of himself, his own choice.
The burning ground i.e. the ‘sea-fires of the unconscious is the root-principle of GNOSIS, the search for ultimate knowledge of the universe is an experience that unfolds from within the Soul and mind of Man.
So the outcome of the conflict is the responsibility of the manifesting Self from the highest to the lowest matter of physical life.
It begins and ends within the soul, mind and body of Man, child of Spirit and Matter,
Wisdom manifesting in the form of measured time and space is recorded and understood by homo-sapiens (wise men) who diligently incarnate and record their discoveries regarding existence’, the after death states of the mind and the meaning and purpose of the involution-evolution of consciousness.
Spirit descending (the cause) implies matter ascending (the effect).
The child of the intercourse between spirit and matter is the involution-evolution of consciousness unfolding sevenfold, through human Self-knowledge or Gnosis.
The burning ground of this Gnosis is between the magnetic pull up and the magnetic pull down.
The root-cause of the conflict of the opposites is because of homo-sapiens either clinging to that which is below or vice versa, strives to hold on to that which is above, negating the middle or burning ground, the sea-fires of the unconscious.
This involves and affects the 7×7 deaths or transformation of intelligent life, from the simple to the highly complex in its struggling to evolve. .

I am aware that this is a crude vision of the wonder of Life which is experienced through my feeling, thinking and knowing intelligence, but it helps me to learn and observe, witness and perceive the law of magnetism all around, within above and below me adjusting to Karma, action and reaction, in everyday life as well as in my inner thoughts of visionary experiences, which aligns to the Occult Doctrine that says:
“Not only the chemical compounds are the same, but the same infinitesimal, invisible lives composing the atoms of the bodies of the mountain and the daisy, of man and the ant, of the elephant, and of the tree which shelters him from the sun. Each particle, whatever you call it organic or inorganic – is Life. “

According to Theosophy; every atom and molecule in the Universe is both life-giving and death-giving to such forms, in as much as it builds by aggregation universes, and the ethereal vehicles ready to receive the transmigrating soul, and eternally destroys and changes the forms and expels those souls from their temporary abodes.
It creates and kills; it is self-generating and self-destroying, it brings into being, and annihilates, that mystery of mysteries, the living body of man, animal or plant, every second in time and space; and it generates equally life and death, beauty and ugliness, good and bad, and even the agreeable and disagreeable, the beneficent and maleficent sensations.
It is that mysterious LIFE, represented collectively by countless myriads of lives that follow in its own sporadic way the hitherto incomprehensible law of Atavism (reversion).

I can’t see it quite the same way. Death is not annihilation but transformation and that does neither destroy nor kill, but simply reveals what is behind the appearance.
Life is energy and that energy is in a state of continuous transformation, a dynamic interaction between force and form, to me positive, perceptive and collective thought etc.
Everything grows from within out from the psycho-mental inner levels to the objectified physical outer levels, understood by human conscious consumption and recorded as the story of time and space, fourfold throughout the seasons, cycles and rounds.
The silent watcher or observer is the inner man or warrior within, ever seeking to forge a link between the magnetic pull up and down and so lift not only his own but the vibrations of the lower kingdoms, onto an ever finer expression and experience of evolution.
The sea-fires of the unconscious should be seen as a filter where the lower and the higher triangles meet and wage war on each other, or learn to live in dynamic equilibrium with each other.
The meaning of it is individually different in experience and expression.
According to a few modern researchers like Freud, Adler, Rank, Horny, Fromm, Jung etc.; not one seems to agree with another wholeheartedly.
How I perceive it:-
The five senses are a description of the outer world, a bio-social network, or matrix of fundamental distinctions.
This Bio-social Band from the human point of view is a pervasive mould of human awareness and behaviour patterns, because ‘as a person divides ‘reality’, so he acts’.
This takes into consideration the direct correspondence between psyches in their different stages of evolution.
Since the dawn of the Intellect, the objective mind has become more and more dominant, determining how a person (mask or shield of incarnating individual egos) should conventionalise and operate according to rules and regulations of different cultures, their traditions, beliefs and politics.
In the 21st century I feel social orders have fallen into a robotic state, mass produced by governments and their so called humanitarian set rules, which turn out to be a deadly and bloody game of materialistic fame, glamour and vanity.

Life on Earth is but an inspired reflection of all that came before and all that which is to come. This knowledge and experience is the beginning without end of the time-flow that rises out of the depths of the Ocean of Neptune.

I can only see through what I am, a septenary ‘Being’ incarnating on Earth into the fourth kingdom as the Hierarchy responsible for the evolution of all life on Earth
I am objectively aware in my waking state, subjectively in my sleeping state which includes the after death states of the mind, conditioned by memory’s void or the lower abyss, (the moon) appearing as a different world to the outer, yet I know, that always I am.
Dion Fortune once wrote: “That which derives from our native folk tradition springs up like water from the soil, made alive by the good brown earth and fresh with the breath of herb and tree, it springs, it sparkles.
It vitalises a man’s nature because it puts him in touch with the sun-warmed, rain-wet earth- this native earth that his bare feet trod as a child when his soul was open and he still could feel the unseen.
It blows through his soul like the wind on high places; it drives over him like the waves of the open sea; and his heart leaps to it like the springing leaping flames of the living fire”
Now to me these are not just words categorised by scientific thought. It describes as I felt as a child, and still do in my old age. It carries on living within me, only that the child has added his two outer to its one inner eye, more and more awakening in each successive incarnation to its evolutionary right of manifesting as a seven principled Being, into the inner and outer worlds, as a living ‘Being’ in mind, soul and heart forever young.
The following is how I perceive the seven principles, builders of the foundation of life on Earth, reflected in my own ‘Being’ and the spiral universe.
(1) Homogeneous = human immortal Spark.
(2) The radiant (gaseous) = Soul-consciousness
(3) Curd-like (nebulous) = Soul-Triple-Flame
(4) Atomic-ethereal = Sea-fires of the unconscious
(5) Germs of the elements = Collective unconscious
(6) four-fold, vapoury = Ego-triple-flame
(7) Cold and depending = Persona-triple-flame.
In my understanding, the seven cosmic rays interact with the sevenfold human-being, manifesting as Reason and Revelation, where a microcosmic image is the root-germ of the four elements towards evolutionary growth in active intelligence of all life.
I perceive it as my self-conscious responsibility together with the Earth-entity to evolve with all other planets, until their karmic cycles have evolved and fulfilled the zodiacal wheel of Eternity aligning with the Solar Being.
Only then will this, our Solar system, be ready to break the circles of time and enter the spiral of Consciousness.
There are as many microcosms as there are macrocosms far beyond any human perception.
It suffices to know that I am ‘in being’, on this Earth, representing a turning point for involution to start interacting with evolution and thus be the observer as well as the observed, as long as I refuse to be side tracked into anti-evolutionary dead end channels of human inventions.

Obsessed with immortal life dragged down onto a non-principled level, they have become like cancer cells.
Medical research into the DNA talks about clonal evolution, of which there are four stages;

Are they not the product of self-deception, tricksters of mind power on a global scale, working in opposition to what they naturally are; ‘wise men’, meant to activate planetary life with love-wisdom energies according to spirit-will and soul-intent?
Do not human egos pride themselves to walk a straight line, cultivating linear consciousness, opposing curved space and the circles of time, staying blissfully or willfully unaware of their illusionary concepts?
When the appearance is worshiped, it tends to be clueless of what is behind it.
I see wisdom-energies as revelation of soul-transforming power that leads to the will and purpose of spirit and matter giving birth to universal principles, nourishing the evolution of consciousness of all life, great and small?
Yet the divine plan of Theosophy suggests that to unite with the source of all things (spirit-energy) which is in everything high or low, nothing in actuality or reality can ultimately go wrong??

If only individuals, first and foremost had been encouraged to think in their own right and trust their own heart, in the face of mass-produced programming of information of eastern and western education, then maybe they could find their way back to what they were meant to be, homo-sapiens. Words of modern languages in the 21st century have concreted into intellectual caprice or meaningless, automatic chatter of personalised grievances, concreting not only human nature but natural life.

That to me shows humanity’s uncertainty of where they stand. It has never been more obvious to me than in this incarnation and modern day life. The fever for technological discoveries on fundamental religions burning up in human minds is not only devastating for human consumption but is destroying planetarily.

In simple terms it highlights the fall of mankind. God is dead, but human reaction to faith carries on, leaving desolation in its wake, where individual and cultural selfhood hides behind 10.000 years of a lie.
Karma has been wrapped up in parcels of good and bad, black and white, where it becomes impossible to interact with polar opposites, there is no going back or forward the psycho-mental inner levels break down as well as the intercommunication between the four kingdoms on Earth.

Yet according to the Theosophists mind over matter is behind it all. I feel that modern civilisations that are based on mind alone without heart or soul are the most disappointing aspects of my esoteric studies.

Yet my heart tells me that karma, balance of the way snakes its way between action and reaction. The higher materialistic aims climb, the lower they fall, not because materialism is evil, as such, but because the hoarding of treasures and possessions is against Nature’s law that does not waste one atom in its economy.

Esoteric science teaches that the goal of the Age of Pisces, mainly overshadowed by the 6th cosmic ray of devotion and idealism was to earth Self, or Christ-consciousness, putting the onus on individual initiative.
Now the Age of Aquarius, mainly overshadowed by the 7th cosmic Ray of ceremonial, Ritual and science, manifests metaphorically speaking as the Judgement day; the global gathering of individual life-atoms face eradication of the lie, where karma heralds in the spiritual waterfall, extinguishing the flames of artificial self-knowledge.
Artificiality is an outer power with a double effect; it can be likened to a duel between helium (inertness) and Helios (worship of the sun-disk). The outcome is stalemate.
Where there is mind-manipulation versus mind-perception, there is neither glory nor victory.
Insights can be experiences which cannot be directly shared with the perception of another, yet they can become part of the soul who speaks in metaphor, the mind who uses inspiration of interpretation, reflected in practical, everyday life.
Life is communication. It is best done in a neutral and impersonal vein, so as not to interfere with, or build more hopeful concepts of habit-forming inconsistencies leading to dead end systems.
